Regal Blinds !
Wednesday 25th July I received a phone call from someone looking for Helen at my house.
I asked him who he is and he said its Simon here from Regal Blinds, I then in turn informed him that he has the wrong number and that there is no one here by that name, he then replied well why did I want to know who he was then and he hung up on me!
Conveniently I have number id on my telephone, so I rang back on the number that was on my phone and Simon here from Regal Blinds answered, confirming the fact that I do have the right number, I then asked him if he rang me a minute ago looking for somone called Helen and he said “yes, is she there?” So i said no there is no-one here by that name, to which he replied, why did you call me then, so I asked him if it is a standard practice for him to ring up, ask a question and then hang up because you do not like the answer. Simon’s answer to that was you are nothing more than a sticky beak and should mind your own F*@king business and hung up on me yet again.
At no stage of either one of the two phone calls did he actually let me tell him why I wanted to know nor did he make any kind of an attempt at some kind of a “hay mate wrong number I am sorry”.
The reason i wanted to know was the fact that I work night shift, the phone call in question took place in the afternoon when I was sleeping, and that if it was someone that knew me and knew that I was working night shift, then I would have told them thanks in no uncertain terms, however being a wrong number I would have easily said no problem goodbye end of story.
Instead I got a mouth full of abuse on MY phone from someone who rang me.
I would like to know if this is how Simon conducts himself with others from his workplace and also wonder what kind of business that he is actually running down there, as it seems very unprofessional to say the least.
